“Experts believe that much of the worldwide increase in melanoma is related to an increase in the amount of time people spend in the sun. This disease is also more common in people who live in areas that get large amounts of UV radiation from the sun. In the United States, for example, melanoma is more common in Texas than in Minnesota, where the sun is not as strong. UV radiation from the sun causes premature aging of the skin and skin damage that can lead to melanoma. Artificial sources of UV radiation, such as sunlamps and tanning booths, also can cause skin damage and increase the risk of melanoma. Doctors encourage people to limit their exposure to natural UV radiation and to avoid artificial sources.”

I think this article is aimed for young adults because they are mostly the one to go to tanning beds. This article is very detailed, and I think that this is informative and gives details on how you can have a better chance of getting skin cancer. The quote states that if you go out and experience and extreme amount of sun or UV rays then you could possibly be in danger. It also says that tanning beds or artificial UV radiation could also cause damage. This quote even gives an example of where it is possible for more UV radiation then others across the United States. The fact that doctors encourage you not to use tanning beds and other artificial UV rays; must mean that it is not good for your body. This article has more specific information. There are different categories with information under them. This website is a very good information source.
